The fifth volume in a series of Northern Neck Warrants & Surveys, this collection has become a standard reference work for researchers in the period of colonial Augusta County, Virginia, history and that of its parent county, Orange. This book documents the land records in what was known as Orange County, Virginia from 1653 to 1781. Because Augusta County was split from Orange County, it is also a record of the earliest settlers of the Beverley Manor Patent.
