The Augusta County Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been studying, collecting, preserving, publishing, educating about, and promoting the history of Augusta County and its communities since 1964.

Our work would not be possible without support from local history lovers like you and others in our community. Donations allow us to keep our doors open and house our collections, but your support also allows us to continue educating about our local history and preserving the work and memories of all who have come before us. Through monetary donations, memberships, and gifts of time we strive to protect our collective memory and bolster the stories of Augusta County.

Please consider supporting our mission to preserve the past for the future by becoming a member, donating, or volunteering today!
